Literature

Language and history are two fundamental elements of national identity. Literature is the tipping point where these two elements manifest. Literature carries the history of nations through their common languages. Medieval Iranian literature includes Ferdausi, Beihaqi, Jowayni, Sa'di, Hafez, Molawi and many other prominent scholars and writers of the time. The reflection of historical events in literary works necessitates interdisciplinary studies. This section aims to extract historical points from literary sources.
